Kris Glover has had dogs since childhood and now lives with her Jack Russell Terrier (Scamps), rescue Terrier Cross (Timon) and rescue Lurcher (Maggie).Her practical experience includes over 20 years of helping people to train and also modify their pet's behaviour.
Kris developed a keen interest in Canine and Human Psychology which led her to complete several courses in Animal Behaviour, achieving not only a First Class Honours degree in Animal Behaviour Management (BA Hons), but also a Master's degree with merit in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling too. This academic learning also includes passing, with distinction, an Advanced Diploma in Animal Behaviour Management; Advanced Canine / Human Interface course with the Animal Care College and Diploma in Animal Behaviour and Training from COAPE. Kris is a guest lecturer at Berkshire College of Agriculture. In 2013 Kris starred on BBC1's Animal Crackers (episode two) in which she helped Ronnie Corbett and his dog Baz work through some behavioural and training issues. In 2014 Kris was the Animal Behaviour Expert for the whole of BBC 2's Sport Relief Top Dog programme (15 episodes). Since 2005 Kris has regularly appeared on BBC Radio Berkshire as their pet behaviour expert too.
Kris works with the RSPCA in Potters Bar and Stokenchurch Dog Rescue in a behavioral capacity. She not only provides assessment for the rescue dogs for but offers rehabilitation help for rescue dogs with behaviour problems too. Kris also actively supports Blue Cross animal charity as one of their trustees.
