Come a wassailing with us at Thatcham Community Orchard as we bless the orchards and chase away the evil spirits to make sure the fruit flows freely from the trees in the coming year.
Wassail is a weird and wonderful slice of English heritage and quirkiness. We'll be singing 'Here's to thee old apple tree', putting pieces of toast in the trees, drinking from the wassail cup and making as much noise as possible. So why not come along and blow away the winter cobwebs?
Remember to bring along a musical instrument or anything you can think of to make as much noise as possible.
Meet in the orchard next to the overflow car park.
